After all has been said and done. Unilever still is not bearing any kind of responsibility of saad’s death. Yet they are trying their level best to settle the issue without getting too much bad publicity on their behalf by refusing to give any kind of footage of the incident when there must be multiple cameras covering the show. Those footage are extremely crucial to know the real truth about their security measurements and not releasing those videos alone are enough to conclude that it was their fault as stated by an eyewitness in this blog post.
To build more pressure on the corporate giants, we have decided to start a campagin of boycotting all unilever products. This is the most peaceful and yet effective protest we all can do. There are many alternatives to unilever products. They are not dealing in life saving drugs which we can’t afford to ignore. They are instead dealing in life taking products as one of their product claimed life of saad khan already. We can at least stop using their products in the memory of saad khan and let unilever tell that ultimate power still lies in the consumer hands. They are what they are now just because consumers wanted them to be their. If consumers refuse to use their products they would not be there to retain this glory. Consumers make or break brands, so learn to deal with consumers with honesty and dignity.
Family, friends and supporters of Saad Khan are gathering up for a peaceful protest in front of Karachi Press Club. I would urge everyone to try their level best to participate in the protest. This is the only thing which could tell these brands a lesson about the corporate social responsibility ethics.
Here are high resolution images of all of our previous posters about saad khan’s death and respective media role. In case you decide to be part of the protest, please print them out and take with you. They are carefully crafted messages and will sure help you raise the voice in much better way.
If he knew he couldn’t have completed the task, he should’ve quit unless he was an idiot who wanted to prove macho in front of some girls then he got what he deserved.
hey baah, please have a little respect as he is not among us anymore. And regarding your question, what I know, he was a champion swimmer and an extremely well built guy. He had excellent performance through out the show except the episode where he had to pot a ball standing from a block of ice and which became the reason of his removal from the show. and later it was only his fitness (and may be death call) that they brought him back on wild card entry.
He died not because he wanted to prove himself as a macho man, he was already having more than that with a beautiful wife, four lovely kids and an excellent career in RBS. He was there because of his adventures nature and not for money.
He died because the selection of the pond was not right as it was very muddy with uneven surface. But even then, only if they had proper security measures, he would not have died like this.
hey you i believe you good job but this is just part of the big picture your actually targeting a way bigger group and yes saad was part of a great conspiracy and they wanted him out cos he knows much but really you dont have to look very far you see there are connections and signs everywhere like for instance ayala had a poster that banned the poor and ama lets just say released a computer virus and a radio show is actually spreading rumors that swine flu vaccine is being given in the flu vaccine to promote it but it shouldnt be cos its too unstable to work i had a friend who was killed in his home in alabang a highly secure facility guess what no guards get the picture try seeing their logos and you will see something familiar we cant trust supreme court and police its all about the civilians remember hitman the movie timothy olyphant the part after the intro
Our Consumers .. have no ethics .. for them who is this saad khan ?

Unilever strikes again, sending threats to teh family of Saad Khan. “We, the Concerned Citizens and Friends of Saad Khan, regretfully inform you that the Vigil for Saad Khan, held on Friday, Sept 11 at 9 PM at Shahih Chowk, opp Park Towers, Clifton has been postponed owing to some external pressures, beyond our control which cannot be revealed at this moment.
We certainly don’t want to harm the interests of Saad Khan’s family by any action of ours. The Vigil has been postponed, and not cancelled. A later date will be announced shortly. We just cannot thank you enough for the support you have lent us and do strongly hope that you understand that at the moment the prime focus is to secure a safe future for Saad’s grieving family. We are taking a on a giant corporation which has its ferocious tentacles in more quarters than just media. The war to achieve equal status and treatment for Pakistanis by corporations is still on.”
Always a relief to know people are conserned and makes the right choice.
